Made with smooth white clay that has had high iron particles mixed into it, this vase is a mixture of highly structured motif softened by subtle variations in the aortas. The slightly different sizes and angles of the extruded openings give it the balance of something highly considered, yet still coming alive and moving of it’s own accord. This form and it’s liveliness have a place very close to my heart.
Ideal for a stand alone statement piece, or a place to experimenting with your own ikebana ideas.
